” When we started Karkhana, the goal wasn’t just to build labs—it was to build belief. Belief that anyone, anywhere—with the right tools and a little guidance—can become a maker, an innovator, a change-maker.
I grew up around circuits, soldering irons, and a stubborn curiosity to understand how things worked. But access was limited, and learning often meant rote memorization, not real exploration.
Karkhana was born to change that.
Today, we’re building makerspaces that feel more like launchpads. We’re not just giving students access to machines—we’re giving them permission to try, fail, build again, and turn bold ideas into working prototypes.
Every space we create, every kit we design, and every program we run has one goal: to ignite problem-solving through hands-on learning.
To every school leader, startup founder, policy maker, teacher, and student reading this—thank you for believing in building.
