C10: Introduction: 3D Designing, Sculpting & 3D Printing

Imagine holding a lump of clay — you push, pull, carve, and shape it until it becomes something meaningful: a toy, a face, or even a hero from your imagination.
That’s what digital sculpting is all about — but instead of real clay, you use virtual clay inside Blender.

3D sculpting allows designers and artists to bring emotions, characters, and organic shapes to life. Unlike mechanical 3D modeling (which uses exact shapes like cubes and cylinders), sculpting is more artistic and expressive. You can make creatures, characters, masks, statues, toys, or abstract designs — all by shaping digital material with brushes and tools.

In this lesson, you’ll explore Blender’s Sculpt Mode and learn how to tell stories through shape and form.
