C5: Electronics for Kids

Aim:
To understand, remember, and spread awareness about safe and unsafe practices when dealing with electricity.

Materials Required:

  • Chart paper

  • Color markers or sketch pens

  • Reference images (printed or hand-drawn)

  • Scissors and glue

Steps:

  1. Take a chart paper and fold it vertically into two equal parts.

  2. Label one side as DOs and the other side as DON’Ts.

  3. Under DOs, draw or paste examples of safe electrical behaviors.
    Examples:

    • Dry your hands before touching switches

    • Turn off appliances when not in use

    • Use proper plugs and wires

  4. Under DON’Ts, draw or paste examples of unsafe practices.
    Examples:

    • Don’t stick metal objects into sockets

    • Don’t use appliances with wet hands

    • Don’t touch broken wires

  5. Add safety symbols like the lightning bolt, danger sign, and warning triangle to make the poster more informative and eye-catching.

  6. Decorate with color and make the message clear so others can learn from your work.
