Aim:
To discover what small challenges someone else faces in daily life by asking questions and listening carefully.
Materials Required:
-
Printed interview worksheet or a notebook
-
Pen or pencil
-
A classmate, sibling, parent, or teacher to interview
Steps:
-
Choose a person to interview — someone you see every day (e.g., friend, teacher, parent).
-
Politely ask them if they are willing to answer a few questions.
-
Ask open-ended questions that help you understand their routine and small problems. Example questions:
-
What do you enjoy doing every day?
-
What is something small that bothers you often?
-
If you could change one thing in your day, what would it be?
-
-
Write down their answers carefully.
-
Think about what they said — what do they really need? What could make their day better?
Working of the Activity:
When you ask questions and really listen, you learn about what others feel and need. This helps you design better solutions because you’re not just guessing — you’re solving the real problem for a real person.
