C6 : Design Thinking and Innovation

Aim:
To proudly present your invention idea and learn from others’ reactions.

Materials Required:

  • Your prototype or design sketch

  • A short explanation (2–3 sentences)

  • Optional: A small chart or slide with your invention name, use, and benefit

Steps:

  1. Write a short script starting with:
    “My invention is called ____. It helps by _____.”

  2. Practice speaking clearly and confidently.

  3. Show your sketch or model while explaining how it works.

  4. Listen carefully to your classmates’ or teachers’ questions.

  5. Ask them what they liked and what they think could be better.

  6. Reflect on the feedback and write down one thing you could improve.

Working of the Activity:

This activity helps you become a confident speaker and think like a real inventor who is always learning and improving.
