C6: Drone Technology

Aim:

To identify, label, and understand the function of main drone components.

Requirements:

  • Printed drone diagram or worksheet

  • Pencil, markers, sketch pens

  • Reference chart (drone parts and their descriptions)

  • Optional: a small toy drone or image for real-life comparison

Steps:

Step 1: Observe the Drone Image

  • Look carefully at the provided drone diagram.

  • Notice the arms, propellers, and sensors.

Step 2: Label Each Component

Label these key parts clearly on your sheet:

  • Frame

  • Propeller

  • Motor

  • Battery

  • Flight Controller

  • GPS Module

  • Camera

  • Sensors

  • Transmitter/Receiver

Step 3: Match Functions in a Table
