C6: Electrical Connection

Electricity is the flow of tiny particles called electrons. These electrons move inside wires, carrying energy from one place to another, just like cars on a road.

  • Wires = Roads for electrons to travel.

  • Switch = Traffic signal that stops or allows movement.

  • Battery = Fuel station that provides energy.

  • Bulb (or load) = Destination where energy is used.

For the bulb to glow, electrons must start at the battery, pass through the circuit, and return back to the battery. This path is called a circuit.

If the path is broken, electrons cannot return, and the bulb will not glow. If the path is continuous, electrons move freely, and the bulb glows.
