- Insulated Wires – Most wires are made of copper (a good conductor) and covered with plastic (an insulator) for safety.
- Wire Stripping – The process of removing the plastic coating at the ends to expose the copper.
- Wire Joint – The connection of two wires so that electricity can flow smoothly.
- Insulation of Joints – Covering exposed copper with tape to prevent shock or short circuit.
Golden Rule:
Electricity flows best through tight, clean joints. Loose joints = danger.
