1. Voltage Testing
- Voltage tells us how much electrical “pressure” is present.
- Measured in Volts (V).
- Example: A AA battery has ~1.5 V.
2. Continuity Testing
- Checks if there is a complete path for current.
- In continuity mode, the multimeter beeps if the path is connected.
- Useful for checking wires, switches, and joints.
⚡ Safety Rule: Always start testing with the lowest risk (continuity with no power), then move to voltage.
