C6: Electronics – Switches and Logic Gates
  1. . What is a switch?
A device that opens or closes a circuit to control the flow of electricity.
  2. What happens when a switch is OFF?
The circuit is open, so electricity cannot flow, and the device stays off.
  3. Name two things in your house that use a switch.
Examples: Light bulb, ceiling fan, TV remote, mixer.
