C7: Design Thinking and Innovation

Aim:
To test your invention by building a paper model and improving it based on suggestions.

Requirements:

  • Paper, cardboard

  • Glue, tape

  • Scissors, markers

  • Feedback form (simple question sheet)

Steps:

  1. Take your invention sketch from Lesson 3.

  2. Build a simple prototype using paper or cardboard.

  3. Show your model to a classmate, teacher, or mentor.

  4. Ask them:

    • What works well?

    • What could be improved?

  5. Write down their answers.

  6. Make changes to your model based on their suggestions.

Working of the Activity
This activity helps you practice testing and improving ideas. A prototype gives you something real to show and talk about. Feedback gives you new ways to think.
