Aim:
To create a blinking LED circuit permanently using a PCB.
Requirements:
- Blinker PCB kit (includes PCB, LED, resistor, capacitor)
- Soldering iron and solder wire
- Wire cutter, safety gloves
- Battery (9V) or similar power supply
Steps:
- Study the PCB: Look for printed labels (e.g., R1, C1, D1) that show where components go.
- Insert components: Place each component into the correct holes. The longer leg of the LED is positive.
- Solder the joints: Carefully heat the joint and apply solder to fix each leg to the copper track.
- Trim wires: Cut off any extra wire sticking out after soldering.
- Test it: Connect a battery and check if the LED blinks.
