C8: Blinker Circuit + PCB Soldering

Aim:
To create a blinking LED circuit permanently using a PCB.

Requirements:

  • Blinker PCB kit (includes PCB, LED, resistor, capacitor)

  • Soldering iron and solder wire

  • Wire cutter, safety gloves

  • Battery (9V) or similar power supply

Steps:

  1. Study the PCB: Look for printed labels (e.g., R1, C1, D1) that show where components go.

  2. Insert components: Place each component into the correct holes. The longer leg of the LED is positive.

  3. Solder the joints: Carefully heat the joint and apply solder to fix each leg to the copper track.

  4. Trim wires: Cut off any extra wire sticking out after soldering.

  5. Test it: Connect a battery and check if the LED blinks.
