Aim:
To build a basic LED blinker using a capacitor on a breadboard.
Requirements:
- Breadboard
- LED
- Resistor (470Ω)
- Capacitor (100µF)
- 9V battery
- Jumper wires
Steps:
- Place the LED on the breadboard (note polarity: long leg = +ve).
- Connect the 470Ω resistor to the anode (long leg) of the LED.
- Place the capacitor across the circuit (note polarity: longer leg is positive).
- Connect jumper wires and the 9V battery carefully.
Observe: The LED should blink repeatedly as the capacitor charges and discharges.
