C8: Design Thinking and Innovation

Aim:
To present your invention using a short, powerful speech supported by visuals.

Requirements:

  • Poster or chart

  • Sketch or prototype

  • Short video clip (optional)

  • Pitch notes

Steps:

  1. Prepare a short 2–3 minute pitch.

  2. Use the following structure:

    • The Problem: What issue are you solving?

    • The User: Who faces this problem?

    • The Solution: What did you create?

    • The Impact: Why does it matter?

  3. Show your prototype, chart, or video to support your talk.

  4. Present your pitch to your class, teacher, or visitors.

  5. Listen to their feedback and reflect.

Working of the Activity
A good pitch shows not just what you built—but why you built it. It helps your audience understand your purpose, your user, and how your idea works.
