C8: Design Thinking and Innovation

Aim:
To improve your design by testing it with classmates and collecting their feedback.

Requirements:

  • Your prototype model

  • Feedback form or notebook

  • Pen or pencil

Steps:

  1. Show your prototype to 2–3 classmates.

  2. Ask them to try it out like a real user.

  3. Watch carefully—what do they do naturally? Where do they struggle?

  4. Ask these questions:

    • What did you like about it?

    • What was confusing or difficult to use?

  5. Write down their answers and suggestions.

  6. Make changes to your prototype based on the feedback.

Working of the Activity
Testing your design with others helps you find problems you might not have seen yourself. This loop of “test, learn, improve” makes your solution more user-friendly.
