C9: 3D Designing & 3D Printing

Every invention starts as a rough drawing — even airplanes, chairs, and robots.
Designers first sketch to express ideas freely without worrying about accuracy. Then they model in 3D to bring the idea to life with realistic proportions.

The 3D Design Process

  1. Imagine – Think of a need or problem.

  2. Sketch – Draw your idea in 2D.

  3. Model – Build it in 3D software (Blender).

  4. Test – Check proportions and usability.

  5. Make – 3D print or prototype it.

This process helps connect creativity with engineering precision.
