C9: Design Thinking & Industrial Design

Aim:
To build a simple prototype that represents your design idea.

Requirements:

  • Cardboard

  • Tape and scissors

  • Markers and glue

Steps:

  1. Choose a design idea from Lesson 2.

  2. Sketch what it should look like and how it works.

  3. Use cardboard and markers to build a basic model.

  4. Ask at least two classmates to test it.

  5. Listen to their suggestions and note down what can be improved.

Working of the Activity
A mockup helps you see your design in real life. By testing early, you avoid mistakes later and build something more useful.
