C10: Arduino / RPi Pico Advanced – Actuator Interfacing
  1. Actuator – A device that produces an action or output (e.g., buzzer, motor, LED).

  2. Buzzer – Converts electrical signals into sound. Two types:

    • Active buzzer: Plays a tone when given power.

    • Passive buzzer: Needs a specific frequency signal to produce sound.

  3. Feedback – The machine’s way of informing the user about its status.
  4. Sensor + Actuator – Work together to detect an event and trigger an alert.
