Intro to IoT (Internet of Things)

By the end of this lesson, students will:

  1. Apply IoT for social good.

    • Answer: Students can propose projects like smart irrigation, health monitoring systems, or smart streetlights.

  2. Brainstorm IoT solutions for community needs.

    • Answer: Students will identify local problems (like water waste, electricity shortage, or road safety) and think of IoT-based solutions.

  3. Create an IoT project plan.

    • Answer: Students will design a solution with three parts—sensors (to collect data), devices (to act), and apps/dashboards (to control or monitor).
